Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at Vedic Village from September 9th to 11th. Initially, there was a mix-up with our room allocation, but after a bit of back and forth, we finally got a proper room. The activities, such as horse riding, were no longer available during my stay. The location is very remote, surrounded by nature but with unfriendly neighborhoods nearby.
The hotel has a very nice service with a smile, especially from Front Desk Mr Parvez who went above and beyond for us. However, the rooms were small, had a funny smell, and were not worth the price. The location is remote, lacking road signs, and the dining experience felt unhygienic at times.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were magnificent with a lovely dining table and balcony to enjoy, but unfortunately, they were quite dirty. The service was a rollercoaster ranging from unfriendly behavior to thoughtful care. The location had its drawbacks being a bit far from Kolkata's center. The dining experience was delightful, offering a variety of dishes, but there were some disappointments. Overall, the hotel had its highs and lows.
The hotel rooms were super spacious with a balcony, perfect for my official meeting, but slightly overpriced due to the holiday season. The service provided by the staff, especially Duty Manager Souvik and Mr Parvez, was exceptional, making my stay memorable. Despite being a bit far from the city, the location offered a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The dining experience at V-den was pleasant, although the complimentary aspect changed to non-complimentary unexpectedly. Overall, the facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
